During their many travels, Sabine and Erik were amazed by the amount of trash they found on beaches and in the water. They began collecting and repurposing it to symbolize their love for the seas, rivers, and oceans.

This is how Waters’ Heart was born — conceived by sculptor Sabine Morvan and her husband, architect Erik Morvan. The couple has traveled extensively, and their fascination with the marine world led them to this innovative initiative that transforms trash into unique, heart-shaped sculptures.

These artworks are made from reused debris collected from beaches around the world, illustrating the hidden beauty in what is often considered waste.

Waters’ Heart is not just a collection of sculptures — it’s an artistic and social movement aimed at inspiring each of us to take action for the planet.

Sabine Morvan is a French sculptor born in Morocco to a painter mother and aviator father. From a young age, she developed a passion for sculpture and form. Shape, tactile sensation, tension and tenderness, and contact with the earth are her primary means of expression.
Her creations were quickly recognized and are now exhibited worldwide. During her many travels, she has met some of the world’s greatest artists. She is tireless in her work and has passed her passion for art on to her children and granddaughter, who are also artists. website

Erik Morvan’s character, training, and experience give him a dual perspective. One is architectural — responding to the needs of his clients — and the other is forward-thinking, anticipating future needs and encouraging urgent decisions to ensure a better tomorrow, whether it’s about the "urban virus" or planetary protection. In May 2018, he published a book titled "Remedies for the Urban Virus".
His vision, both pragmatic and creative, allows him to offer holistic solutions to future challenges. This approach has kept him outside conventional circles, giving him a sharper eye for observation. His "bio-organic" architectural style is a clear example. website
